My first cocker-lady appeared in my life yet in the seventieth. She was a wonderful black bitch – BELLA Silvia; at home called Chica. Her sire was CHPL PATRICK Lochnell and her breeding lines were English cockers of Lochnell, Broomleaf, Colinwood and Quettadene.

Chica was the starting point of my great love to all cockers. She seldom went to the shows. But, if she went, she was always excellent. Her passion was the hunting. She never had offspring.

Then my first particolor cocker-lady – the black/white MALINA Mardor, called Kropka came into my house. Her sire was CHPL GOLF z Kurzej Chatki and her dame – NIEZTEJZIEMI SulimaChallanger. The shows weren't her passion. Kropka had one and only one passion – the puppies. Her first litter was born on the 7 th June 1990. This year is the foundation date of Sambalu's English Cocker Spaniel Kennel.

From Kropkas first litter the blue roan bitch SAIMA stayed at home.
She was my first Sambalu bitch, the really true show cocker-lady with the great show results.
Saima's show results were my pride. Her sire was the World Winner Kopenhagen 89 – CH CLYDE de la Val Masque.

Kropka's second litter was a champion one - all puppies did excellent at the shows and quickly became champions. The sire of that litter was
CH USA,Danii,Niemiec i Austrii – Lynann's LITTLE BOY BLUE.

SALSA IN SABLE , Dzetkas daughter after VDH CH Allround's TAN SADLER stayed at home in 1998. Salsa was the first and most beautiful sable bitch born in my kennel. And my greatest darling ! The really true show dog. She consciously wanted to be shown.
Salsa moved in the ring with great dignity and elegance, because she had the shows in her blood. With highly raised head she seemed to say: “Look at me and admire me”. Salsa was always together with me. I was all her life and she was all my life too. She was indisputably a boss to her two daugthers and the daugthers had much respect for her.
I am sure, she is waiting for us – “her people” on the rainbowbridge.

Kropka, Saima and Dzetta were very united and devoted to each other and finaly almost at the same time, the mother pass away with the daughter of the Eternal Hunting, and two years after they gone my sweet Dzetka joined them.

Prematurely and quite unexpectedly left this world Salsa. I still had so many plans connected with her, but fate did not allow realize it. The only consolation is that, she certainly met her old girl friends and firmly together they run and hunt on a green meadow full of flowers.

They were my joy and they share with me all the successes and defeats, faithfully clinging on mnie. They stay for ever in my heart and memory.

Now I would like to say “Much thanks” to the persons, who added to the success of my females:

still more generations of the Sambalu's cockers in the ring.
